From Cape Reinga at the very top of the North island you can watch the spectacle of the two oceans (The Pacific and The Tasman Sea)

coming together, feel the presence of the

past where Moaridom see their loved

ones leave these Isles for Hawaiiki.

Experience the life style of the upper North

where patience, whanau and cultivation are

the way of the people settled in these areas.

Beautiful bays and seas plentiful provide

a living for many on both coasts.

Magnificent forests and fruit growing,

take us to areas steeped in this countries

early history of two peoples coming

together like the oceans above.

Settlers working the lands making a

life style far better than the one they

left behind and the voyaging Maori

who's lives are strong in

legend and survival.
