Found in $$$ shops and there are plenty around, is this little container designed for cupboards and wardrobes.
Place a couple of these units in your motorhome and you have a very cheap (only a few dollars) and effective approach to moisture control.
Excellent to use when our vehicle is parked up for a period of time e.g .over the winter months.
Have you ever lost the "SQUARE" key, I have heard of folk using all sorts of things. I lost mine the other day but spied one of these in a friends tool kit. Works just fine and for less than $3.00 in any hardware or paint store. |
Interesting products that I have come across, you may already be using them or others please share any ideas you have.
Telescopic Vertical Axis Wind Generator 50W
One of the disadvantages of conventional wind generators is that they occupy a lot of space with spinning blades and large poles. A vertical axis generator addresses this by taking up much less real estate, so can be mounted on a boat, mobile home, caravan or small building. Another advantage is that they are more suitable for areas where the wind direction is variable, as they don't need to be pointed in the wind direction to be effective. The telescopic design means you can fold the generator to half its length when not in use or for high wind speeds, and an LED display give you a readout of output voltage so you know when it's working effectively. Cables, mounting bars and a strong magnetic base are included so this is a complete portable wind generator solution for boating, 4WD, camping, fishing etc.
My friends and I purchased from Jaycar Electronics branch of choice Khyber Pass Rd. Mt Eden

• Compact design with no spinning blades
Also found in the $$$ shops sold for a few dollars to cyclists for a rear night safety light.
Placed where the flasher can't be seen but its flashing light is reflecting off the interior of your motorhome. This will give anyone nearby, the impression that there is electronic security installed and operating.
I have sometimes turned mine on in some "park places". Placed where it dosn't disturb my sleep. I also keep one in the kayak to clip to the back collar of my life jacket if I am returning late to shore and the daylight has begun to fade.
