________________________________________________ Auckland City Council Car ParkBeach RoadCity Beach Rd is effectively an extension of Custom St. The Old Railway Building parking area. This can be a very convenient park spot close to the city. At $7.00 per night with the expiry time being 6.00 AM but make sure you read all signage carefully as there are designated park places in the area as well. (Schedule lower down) Also handy if you are going to attend a function at the neighboring Vector Arena Center, always take note of any function being held here as parking will be hard to find if you don't arrive early..

Wednesday night at the Tank Farm Beaumont Street, Auckland Is a great 'in your face' yacht race for those of us lucky enough to have vans to park and watch all the fun and excitement that this water sport can offer. NOTE It appears that 180 m., parking signs have been erected in this area [noted 27 September 2009]
Five of these guys came so close to the roadside rail I felt I could just touch them ![]() Of the above two photos, taken from the Tank Farm I can not make up my mind which I have enjoyed the most. Just a privilege to witness both. =================================
